Herbalife Promotes Healthy Lifestyle at VnExpress Marathon in Vung Tau
Herbalife made its debut at the VnExpress Marathon in Vung Tau, featuring product experiences and physical activities. Over 2,000 independent members participated, promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Herbalife made its debut at the VnExpress Marathon Vung Tau 2026, an event that marked the first time the marathon was brought to Vung Tau by VnExpress. The global nutrition brand offered a range of activities, from product experiences to physical exercises at the expo area, attracting over 2,000 independent members to register for the run. Nguyen Thanh Dat, Senior Communications Manager at Herbalife Vietnam, stated, "To achieve long-term health goals, everyone needs to train every day, both in terms of physical activity and nutrition." Health and nutrition experts consistently recommend at least 30 minutes of physical activity daily, with marathons being an accessible sport for all. This is why Herbalife prioritizes sponsoring marathons. The VnExpress Marathon Vung Tau, held for the first time, featured three race distances: 5km, 10km, and 21km, winding through scenic coastal routes in Vung Tau such as Tran Phu, Quang Trung, Ha Long, and Thuy Van streets. Notably, a portion of the 21km course offered a unique stretch along the sea. Herbalife set up vibrant booths at the VnExpress Marathon Vung Tau expo, located at Thuy Van Square, opposite Tam Thang Tower on Le Hong Phong Street, where bibs were distributed on August 28 and 29. These booths added to the lively atmosphere and boosted the spirits of the athletes before the competition. Throughout the expo, Herbalife's stalls attracted thousands of participants for check-ins and photos with the stage, mascots, and the brand's signature green lettering. Attendees were provided with rehydration and herbal beverages, products favored by many for long-term health maintenance. To equip runners with health knowledge for optimal physical condition both in daily life and on the racecourse, Herbalife's booths hosted minigames during peak hours, featuring questions about nutrition and exercise. Winners received gifts from the brand, enhancing their race experience. Additionally, the brand invited Taekwondo athlete Chau Tuyet Van to perform martial arts, interact with the audience, and lead simple exercises at the Herbalife booth. As a Herbalife Vietnam Brand Ambassador, the martial arts star also accompanied runners on the 10km course on the morning of August 30, inspiring an active and healthy lifestyle. With Herbalife's support, the VnExpress Marathon Vung Tau also implemented a Gamezone at the expo, a new feature in this year's VnExpress Marathon series, previously seen in Da Nang and Nha Trang. The Gamezone offered four physical activities: "Golden Ball Sieve," "Pickleball Challenge," "Dexterity," and "Quick Hands, Quick Eyes," designed as a relaxing and interactive stop for runners and their families before race day. On the racecourse on the morning of August 30, Herbalife's presence was further highlighted by the numerous green towels and shirts worn by independent members. Mr. Dat expressed the company's "immense pride" in the participation of over 2,000 members, viewing them as ambassadors spreading an active and healthy lifestyle. Many Herbalife members registered as large groups, some numbering up to a hundred participants, such as the group led by Nguyen Thien Tin from Ho Chi Minh City. Nguyen Van Nhan from An Giang, participating in his first marathon, shared his confidence in registering for the 21km distance due to his daily health training and nutritional preparation, motivated by his fondness for both VnExpress and Herbalife. Participating in the 5km race, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dat noted that despite being Vung Tau's first marathon, the event garnered strong participation and enthusiastic support from runners. "Everyone was excited and had a wonderful experience, aligning with Herbalife's goal of contributing to a healthier community through balanced nutrition combined with an active and healthy lifestyle."
