LGU Share of National Taxes to Climb to P1.32 Trillion
Local government units (LGUs) in the Philippines are set to receive a higher national tax allotment (NTA) of P1.32 trillion in 2026, bolstering their capacity for infrastructure and welfare projects. This increase is a consequence of the 2019 Supreme Court ruling that expanded LGUs' share of national tax collections.
