Diesel, LNG and fertilizer import tax exemption extended for one month

The Ministry of Finance and Revenue announced that the tax exemption for the import of diesel, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and fertilizers has been extended until August 31. According to the announcement, the exemption from customs duty, special goods tax, commercial tax, and the 2 percent advance income tax levied on the import of ordinary diesel will be extended from August 1 to August 31. Furthermore, it is stated that the exemption from customs duty, commercial tax, and advance income tax levied on the import of liquefied natural gas (LNG) will also be extended from August 1 to August 31. Similarly, the exemption from the 2 percent advance income tax levied on the import of fertilizers has also been extended from August 1 to August 31, according to the announcement. The announcement states that the tax exemption for the import of ordinary diesel, liquefied natural gas (LNG), and fertilizers will be applicable to those imported after opening an Import Declaration (ID) at the Customs Department until August 31.
