Pangasinan Suspends Classes, Work Due to Red Rainfall Alert

CALASIAO, Pangasinan – Classes in all levels, both public and private schools, and work in all government institutions in Pangasinan were suspended on Tuesday (August 4) due to a red rainfall warning issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). The province was placed under a red rainfall alert, indicating a potential for 200 milliliters of rainfall, which could lead to severe flooding. Governor Ramon Guico III made the announcement to ensure the safety of residents and prevent potential casualties. This precautionary measure aims to mitigate the risks associated with heavy rainfall and potential flooding in the province.
