Huawei Launches AI-Powered MatePad Air 2026 in Indonesia

JAKARTA - Huawei officially brings the MatePad Air series back to Indonesia through the Huawei MatePad Air (2026), an ultra-thin tablet that carries PC-level productivity based on artificial intelligence (AI). Huawei MatePad Air (2026) comes with a thickness of 5.3 mm and a weight of 509 grams. This device is combined with accessories such as the Smart Magnetic Keyboard, Huawei M-Pencil Pro, and mouse to provide an experience that is more similar to a PC in a more compact format. One of the main highlights of this device is the integration of AI in various applications. Through the PC-level WPS Office AI, users can take advantage of the PDF AI Summarize feature to summarize long documents, AI Smart Create & Edit to help compose and refine writing, and AI Generate Slides which can create presentations from a short prompt. Huawei also embeds an AI Sheet Assistant to help process spreadsheets, create formulas, and visualize data in the form of graphs. Meanwhile, the Huawei Notes app comes with an AI Speech-to-Text feature that can turn conversations into text and distinguish between multiple speakers in meetings or interviews. For learning needs, there is AI Handwriting Enhancement which helps tidy handwriting and AI Tutor which can recognize and help solve math problems. On the creative side, the GoPaint app presents a number of AI features to support the process of drawing and creating visual content. MatePad Air (2026) uses a 12-inch 2.8K OLED PaperMatte Display with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. The tablet is also equipped with a 10,100 mAh battery that supports 66W SuperCharge fast charging.
