Vietnam Continues Remains Recovery Mission in Cambodia

Vietnam's K91 Team (Dong Thap Provincial Military Command) has resumed its mission to collect and repatriate the remains of Vietnamese fallen soldiers in Cambodia. The unit plays a crucial role in searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese soldiers who sacrificed their lives in Cambodia. The current operation is scheduled for the dry season of 2026-2027, with a particular focus on areas in Prey Veng and Pursat provinces. Past missions in these regions have resulted in the discovery of several sets of remains, and similar findings are anticipated. The K91 Team has a track record of collecting over 2,000 sets of remains during the "500-Day Operation," accelerating the identification process.
