Attendees included Ms. Leng Sokhim, Deputy Director of the Kampong Thom Provincial Red Cross Branch; Mr. Thong Ny, Director of Tang Krasaing High School; officials from the Santuk District Education, Youth, and Sports Office; and 45 Red Cross volunteers and youth volunteers. Ms. Leng Sokhim stated that the training aims to equip youth volunteers with a comprehensive understanding of the history, fundamental principles, and first aid techniques of the Red Cross and Red Crescent movements. This knowledge will enable them to effectively rescue victims according to technical standards and to subsequently educate their communities. During the event, Ms. Leng Sokhim conveyed greetings and well wishes from Samdech Kittipritthibandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian Red Cross, and HE Noun Pharat, Chairman of the Kampong Thom Provincial Red Cross Committee. She expressed deep gratitude for the volunteers' dedication to humanitarian work and their participation in the training. Mr. Thong Ny, Director of Tang Krasaing High School, offered two key recommendations to the participants, emphasizing their significant role in assisting community members and their position as the backbone of the Cambodian Red Cross and the future generation of the nation.
