Ninh Thuan Province Promotes Local Culture Through Traditional Arts Festival

Ninh Thuan Province has taken a significant step towards bringing the value of its local traditional arts closer to the public. On the evening of September 19, at the Pham Thi Tran Theater, the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Thuan Province officially opened the 1st Ninh Thuan Province Non-Professional Traditional Arts Club Federation Festival in 2026. This festival aims to raise public interest, especially among the youth, in traditional arts, thereby promoting their preservation and development. Under Vietnam's one-party system, the protection and promotion of cultural heritage are also emphasized from the perspective of strengthening national unity and identity. In recent years, while Vietnam's economy has achieved remarkable growth, the inheritance of traditional culture has become a challenge amidst rapid societal changes. Against this backdrop, provincial-level initiatives to promote traditional arts play a crucial role in maintaining regional cultural diversity and supporting the spiritual richness of the people. The festival not only provides a platform for local artists and enthusiasts to gather and showcase their performances but also offers participants and audiences a deep cultural experience by introducing various art forms such as traditional music, dance, and theater.
