UN Cambodia Representative Supports Peaceful Resolution of Cambodia-Thailand Border Issues Based on UNCLOS
The UN Resident Coordinator in Cambodia has expressed support for Cambodia's peaceful and multilateral approach to resolving border issues with Thailand, based on the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS). The Cambodian Parliament has also ratified UNCLOS and decided to utilize its compulsory conciliation mechanism.
