Bago River water level exceeds warning level

The river water is expected to rise by approximately 1 foot within the next day in Bago City and may continue to remain above the warning level. Therefore, residents living near the riverbanks and in low-lying areas within Bago Township have been notified to be vigilant. In the low-lying wards of Bago City, river water began to flow in from the morning of July 29, and on the morning of July 30, river water flowed into additional wards, causing floods, according to local residents.
