Sea Travel Halted in Northern Quezon Due to Tropical Depression Luis

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) suspended the operations of all sea vessels in northern Quezon early Sunday, Aug. 2, as rough seas brought by Tropical Depression “Luis” posed risks to maritime travel. The PCG station in Real town announced the temporary suspension of all voyages and vessel operations within the jurisdiction of the station. This measure prioritizes the safety of passengers and crew. Tropical Depression “Luis” is located east of the Philippines, and its influence has caused high waves and rough seas in northern Quezon.
