Inspection of Regional Dev. Works : Kayah State CM inspected regional development works

The Kayah State Government is actively implementing measures to ensure food security and promote regional development within the state. In the morning on September 1st, the State Chief Minister, U Ant Maw, accompanied by state government members, conducted inspections of livestock expansion projects, the operation of crop drying facilities, and the construction of stone-laying drainage for regional development. First, the Chief Minister and state government members arrived at Nant Yar (B) Ward, where they inspected the clearing of land for a cattle farm to raise 52 dairy cows, funded by the state government's budget, to provide nutritious milk to basic education students. They also visited Yay Ni Kan Village to inspect the construction of a model layer chicken farm being undertaken by the Department of Livestock Breeding and Veterinary, funded by the state budget, as well as land sites for additional layer chicken farms to ensure a sufficient supply of eggs within the state. The Chief Minister provided necessary guidance on the matters. Afterward, they proceeded to the Treasure Corn Company Limited crop drying facility in Yay Ni Kan Village, where they inspected the operations of threshing, drying, storage, and export of paddy and corn crops. The Chief Minister provided necessary guidance to responsible officials based on their reports. Subsequently, the Chief Minister and relevant officials inspected the ongoing construction of a stone-laying drainage measuring 2,840 feet in length on the Loikaw (500-acre) – Namtbawan (Shan) road. This project is being carried out by the State Rural Road Development Department using Union Budget funds. The Chief Minister emphasized the need to complete the project on time while meeting established quality standards and provided necessary directives, it’s reported.
