Cambodian National Assembly President Arrives in Hanoi for Official Visit
Cambodian National Assembly President Khuon Sudary arrived in Hanoi, Vietnam, on the evening of July 27, 2026, for a three-day official and friendship visit. The visit aims to further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Vietnam.
The President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Khuon Sudary, and a high-level delegation arrived safely in Hanoi, the capital of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on the evening of July 27, 2026. The President is on a three-day official and friendship visit to Vietnam from July 27 to July 29, at the invitation of Mr. Tran Thanh Man, President of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. This visit aims to further deepen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries. Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, the delegation received a warm and friendly welcome from Vietnamese officials, including Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh, Vice President of the Vietnamese National Assembly, and several other members of the National Assembly. The Cambodian Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E. Touch Sopharat, and her colleagues were also present. It is to be noted that, in response to the invitation from H.E. Tran Thanh Man, President of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Samdech Mahak Padeathipatey Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, led a high-level parliamentary delegation on an official and friendship visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam from July 27 to July 29, 2026, to further strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
