Speaking at the launch ceremony, Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Committee and head of the contest’s organizing committee, highlighted the objective of broadly promoting Da Nang's unique appeal to the international community, thereby boosting tourism and enhancing the city's image. In recent years, Da Nang has been focusing on strengthening its tourism industry. The city is promoting its distinctive cuisine as a key tourism attraction and is also implementing criteria for green tourism accommodations, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable tourism development. Furthermore, Da Nang seeks to establish itself as a strategic investment destination. This photo contest is part of broader efforts to raise international interest and highlight the city's multifaceted appeal. Da Nang is one of the cities driving Vietnam's rapid economic growth, attracting investment particularly in sectors such as tourism, IT, and manufacturing.
