Cambodia to Attend Asia-Pacific Aviation Meeting in Malaysia, Focusing on Digitalization and Sustainability

Cambodia will send a delegation led by Dr. Mao Havannall, Minister and Secretary of State of the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation, to the 61st Directors General of Civil Aviation Conference for Asia and the Pacific (DGCA/61), to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from September 7 to 11, 2026. The conference will be held under the theme 'Smart Airspace: Advancing Technologies for Safe, Secure, Sustainable, and Efficient Aviation.' Participants are expected to discuss new trends, advanced technologies, and innovative solutions for the development of the aviation industry in the region. The participation of the Cambodian delegation signifies the government's strong commitment to strengthening aviation cooperation in the region and promoting the implementation of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards and recommendations. Cambodia will reiterate its commitment to enhancing aviation safety and security, promoting digital transformation, utilizing modern technologies, and supporting the development of a sustainable aviation sector.
