PDEA Seizes P1.95 Billion Worth of Illegal Drugs in May Operations

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) reported seizing P1.95 billion worth of illegal drugs and arresting 3,702 individuals during 2,941 operations conducted in May. The busts included significant amounts of methamphetamine and marijuana, and led to the dismantling of 18 drug facilities. Notably, arrested suspects included elected officials and uniformed personnel, signaling a no-tolerance policy by the agency.
