Ho Chi Minh City to Develop 63ha Truong Tho ICD Site into TOD Urban Area Post-2030
Ho Chi Minh City announced plans to transform the 63-hectare Truong Tho ICD (Inland Container Depot), operational until 2030, into a mixed-use urban development area based on the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) model after 2030. Logistics functions will be relocated to Long Binh ICD and other sites, with the former port area to be redeveloped into a new urban space integrating parks, educational, cultural, research facilities, commercial, office, and residential spaces.
