BOC intercepts smuggled endangered tortoises at Naia, detains Malaysian passenger

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) intercepted approximately 50 endangered tortoises hidden in a Malaysian passenger's luggage at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia). The passenger has been detained for violations of wildlife and customs laws.
