Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, will host a traditional Mid-Autumn Festival market in its Old Quarter from September 11 to 25, 2026. This year's market, themed 'Celebrating, Preserving, and Spreading the Values of Traditional Mid-Autumn Festival,' aims to provide a venue for experiencing Vietnam's rich cultural heritage. The event is designed to offer a special cultural experience for both domestic and international tourists, enhancing the capital's charm as an autumn tradition. Notably, this year's market is not an isolated event but is coordinated with surrounding cultural sites to offer a broader experience. For instance, visitors can proceed from Hàng Mã street to the 'Connecting the Ancient Capital's Moon 2026' event at 22 Hàng Buồm, experience the 'Welcoming the Moon Space' at the Heritage House at 87 Mã Mây, and explore the creative space for traditional lion heads at the Hồ Gươm Cultural Information Center, located at 2 Lê Thái Tổ, creating a series of cultural immersions.
