Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy warships arrive at Yangon's Thilawa Port for goodwill visit

It is known that warships belonging to the 48th PLA Navy Escort Task Group, including the destroyer Tang Shan, the frigate Da Qing, and the supply ship Tai Hu, arrived at Yangon's Thilawa Port on September 24 for a goodwill visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Upon arrival, the warships were welcomed by senior officials, officers, and soldiers of the Myanmar Navy, as well as officials from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China and the Military Attaché's Office in Myanmar. The task group is led by Senior Captain Xu Fang, accompanied by officers and soldiers from the 48th PLA Navy Escort Task Group. During the visit, they are scheduled to tour and observe prominent places in Yangon and participate in friendly sports competitions between the two countries.
