Vietnam Weather Update: Heavy Rains in North, Intermittent Sun and Evening Showers in South

Coastal areas are warned of potential hailstorms and strong gusts accompanying these thunderstorms. At sea, the northern Gulf of Tonkin and the northern part of the East Sea (including the waters around the Paracel Islands) are forecast to have scattered showers and thunderstorms. There is a high possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of level 7-8, with sea waves exceeding 2 meters, posing risks to maritime activities. In Hanoi, cloudy skies are expected with showers and thunderstorms, and locally heavy rain. The lowest temperature will be between 25-27°C, and the highest between 32-34°C. The Northwest and Northeast regions are also predicted to have showers and locally heavy rainfall, with temperatures generally ranging from 30-33°C. In the central region, areas from Thanh Hoa to Hue will see rain, with some places experiencing heavy rainfall, while the southern part will be sunny. Minimum temperatures will range from 25-28°C, and maximum temperatures from 31-34°C. The South Central Coast is expected to have sunny days with minimum temperatures of 25-28°C and maximum temperatures of 32-35°C. The Central Highlands will have a few scattered showers and thunderstorms, with temperatures between 20-23°C and 28-31°C. The Southern region will experience intermittent sunshine, but with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Minimum temperatures are forecast to be between 24-27°C, and maximum temperatures between 31-34°C. Ho Chi Minh City is also expected to follow a similar weather pattern. This week, both the North and South are forecast to have periods of heavy rain, while the Central region will experience a mix of sunny spells and evening thunderstorms.
