Miss Indonesia's Car Targeted by Stone-Throwing Attack, Police Investigate

The car belonging to Adinda Cresheilla, Miss Indonesia Pariwisata 2022, was targeted by an unknown assailant throwing stones while she was traveling on Jalan Metro Pondok Indah, South Jakarta. The attack resulted in the shattering of the car's windshield, and the police are now pursuing the perpetrator. Adinda shared the incident through her personal Instagram account, posting a video showing the damaged windshield due to the stone impact. She wrote, "Yesterday afternoon, I suddenly encountered a disaster where someone threw stones on Jalan Metro Pondok Indah. I was driving in the rightmost lane, and the moment the stone hit, I instinctively grabbed my phone to record evidence, turned on my hazard lights, and pulled over to the left side of the road." According to the Head of Kebayoran Lama Police, Kompol Muhammad Kukuh Islami, the police immediately went to the scene after receiving information about the incident. "The victim, along with our officers, checked the crime scene. The officers also looked for CCTV in the surrounding area to identify the perpetrator," Kukuh told reporters on Monday night. Kukuh stated that Adinda has officially filed a report at the Kebayoran Lama Police Station. The police are currently examining CCTV footage from the vicinity to identify the perpetrator. "The concerned party has indeed made an LP (Laporan Polisi - Police Report) at the Kebayoran Lama Police Station. After the incident, we checked the TKP (Tempat Kejadian Perkara - Crime Scene) to confirm whether the incident actually occurred," he said. The police have also confiscated the stone used by the perpetrator as evidence. "We have confiscated the stone to be used as evidence," Kukuh added.
