Bangkok Red Line Stations Conduct Emergency Drills for Active Shooter Scenarios

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT), operator of Bangkok's Red Line urban rail system, has conducted emergency response drills in preparation for active shooter incidents within its stations. The objective of these drills was to confirm the system's capacity to respond swiftly and effectively to potential emergencies, prioritizing passenger safety. Under simulated active shooter scenarios, the training emphasized passenger evacuation procedures by station staff, first aid for casualties, and coordination with relevant agencies including the police and fire departments.
