Cambodia's Central Bank Hosts Global Financial Market Forum on Strategy Amid Economic Volatility

The National Bank of Cambodia organized a Global Financial Market Forum themed "Navigating Market Turmoil: Reassessing Risks and Investment Opportunities" on July 20, 2026, in Phnom Penh. The event was presided over by H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia, and attended by approximately 260 participants, including leaders and staff from the National Bank of Cambodia, representatives from relevant ministries and institutions from both public and private sectors, as well as banking and financial institutions. The forum was convened with the objective of jointly discussing and directing financial strategies in the context of global economic volatility. It highlighted the complex challenges and changes in international financial markets that directly and indirectly impact regional and domestic economies.
