Vietnam-US Relations: Hopes for 'New Bridges' Rise Ahead of Leader's US Trip

Ahead of a top Vietnamese leader's working trip to the US, hopes are high for the creation of "new bridges" in bilateral relations. These bridges are envisioned to foster dialogue, trust, cooperation, and mutual understanding, connecting trade, technology, education, culture, and people-to-people exchanges, according to Ha Anh and Duy Anh. These bridges are also expected to enable Vietnam to continue reaching out to the world with confidence, openness, and a strong sense of responsibility.
