ASEAN Observer Mission Investigates Situation Along Cambodia-Thailand Border
Cambodia's Ministry of National Defense announced that an ASEAN Observer Team, represented by the Philippines, investigated the Cambodia-Thailand border area near the Poipet International Border Checkpoint on August 20, 2026. The investigation focused on civilian commercial areas that suffered extensive damage from a Thai military airstrike in December 2025.
