Vietnam to Expand Lifelong Learning Program to Overseas Vietnamese

The Vietnam Association for Promoting Education (VAPE) will focus on improving the quality of its activities on digital platforms, while renewing learning models towards digitalization and green transformation to meet the country’s development requirements, according to VAPE President Nguyen Thi Doan. In Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh's spirit of courage and lifelong learning serves as an inspiration for the nation. The country celebrates Lifelong Learning Week every October to promote the importance of learning across society. This initiative to include overseas Vietnamese in the program can be seen as an effort to realize the Communist Party of Vietnam's vision of "nationwide learning" on a more global scale.
