Cambodia Cracks Down on Tech Crimes and Illegal Gambling, Detains Foreigners

Cambodian authorities have intensified crackdowns on online scams and illegal gambling, detaining numerous foreigners in Phnom Penh's Chamkar Mon and Toul Kork districts on June 6. Six illegal gambling sites were raided in Chamkar Mon, leading to the discovery of undocumented foreigners. In Toul Kork, 53 foreigners were identified across 15 locations, all possessing valid passports and visas.
