Vietnam Focuses on Boosting Agricultural, Forestry, and Fishery Exports for Year-End

On July 30, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in coordination with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, organized a conference in Ho Chi Minh City focused on promoting the export of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products for the final months of 2026. The meeting brought together various industry associations to discuss solutions for boosting exports. The primary objectives of the conference were to stimulate production and business activities among farmers and to maintain export growth momentum while pursuing sustainable development. Notably, the e-commerce platform TikTok Shop is implementing numerous solutions aimed at revitalizing the rural economy, highlighting its expected contribution. The Vietnamese government is seeking to create new drivers for achieving its target of double-digit growth in the agricultural, forestry, and fishery sectors. This initiative is expected to enhance the international competitiveness of the agricultural sector, a crucial pillar of the Vietnamese economy, and contribute to stable domestic economic growth.
