It is known that gambling dens, including Jin wine, Phe wine, and drug sales, are being held daily in Kaee Village, Leway Township, led by Than Htun, the head of the gambling dens, in cooperation with other dens. It is known that despite repeated complaints from villagers to the township administrator, station chief, area police, township administrator, and village administrators about these gambling dens being held, no action has been taken. Furthermore, it is known that residents have repeatedly called Township Administrator Aye Kyaw and Area Station Chief Deputy Police Officer Zaw Tun Oo, but they have not come. These gambling dens are being held daily near the cremation ground in Kaee Village, Leway Township, and illegal timber trading is also taking place. It is known that 70 Lakhs of Kyats are paid per week to the state, district, township, area stations, and various administrative bodies to allow these gambling dens to operate, and over 100 Lakhs of Kyats are paid monthly as a monthly fee. "Residents have repeatedly called Township Administrator Aye Kyaw and Area Station Chief Deputy Police Officer Zaw Tun Oo to complain. No action has been taken. The head of the gambling dens, Than Htun, is operating daily near the cremation ground in Kaee Village. He is not alone. He is working in cooperation with other dens," said a local resident.
