Two Injured in Truck Collision at Khon Kaen Intersection

Two men were injured and trapped inside a six-wheel box truck after it crashed into the rear of a trailer truck at a traffic-light intersection in Ban Phai district, Khon Kaen province, early Tuesday morning. The accident occurred at approximately 2 a.m. at the Hin Tang three-way intersection on the inbound side of Ban Phai district. Rescue workers from the Phutthayan Rescue Foundation responded to the scene and utilized hydraulic cutting equipment to free the two injured men from the wreckage. By approximately 2:39 a.m., rescuers had successfully removed both men from the truck. They received initial first aid before being prepared for transport to Ban Phai Hospital. The cause of the crash and the full extent of the men’s injuries remained under investigation.
