Lao Cai Province Holds August Provincial Flag Raising Ceremony Amidst Economic and Social Activities

Lao Cai Province in northern Vietnam held its August provincial flag-raising ceremony on the morning of August 3rd at August 19th Square in Yen Bai ward, the provincial capital. The ceremony was organized by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Board and was integrated with ideological education activities. Alongside the flag-raising ceremony, various activities contributing to regional development were also reported. In the economic sector, investment policies for 24 economic projects were approved, indicating moves towards revitalizing the regional economy. In social and cultural aspects, a gravel bike race titled "Muong Bo X-Rice Soaring on Golden Rice Waves," capitalizing on the mountainous terrain, was held, attracting the interest of local residents and tourists. Furthermore, it was reported that 821 sets of remains of fallen soldiers who contributed to the nation's development were handed over for DNA identification, demonstrating a commitment to national respect and historical continuity.
