The ASEAN Special Envoy, who is also the Philippine Foreign Minister, held an online meeting and discussion with the National Unity Government (NUG), Mizzima has learned. This meeting took place after face-to-face meetings with the military junta and some leaders of Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs). Regarding the status of the discussions, an official from one of the NUG ministries told Mizzima, "It was a brief online meeting, and the ASEAN side did not say anything special.
