A young official was found dead in the parking lot of a mall in Bandung, West Java, on Sunday (12/7). The man is suspected of having ended his own life. The victim was allegedly found having hanged himself on the retaining wall of the parking lot on the 12th floor. Kapolsek Regol, Bandung, Kompol Megawati Triyanti, stated that the victim's body had been evacuated to the hospital. "Yes, there was an incident. On Sunday, July 12, at around 06:30 AM, we received information from witnesses, a technician and security, on the 12th floor of the Kings [shopping mall] parking lot," Mega said on Monday (13/7), as quoted by detikJabar. She added that police had also secured several pieces of evidence such as a mobile phone, sandals, KTP, and a suicide note from the victim to his family, friends, and relatives. Quoting detikJabar, circulating information stated that the victim was one of the heads of SPPG in Bandung Regency. This news was known through condolence posts from SPPI Regional Jabar. Regarding this, Mega stated that based on the KTP, the 26-year-old man was a student/mahasiswa. "The victim is a student, the KTP states mahasiswa. After identification, he was taken directly to Sartikaasih," said Mega. Despite this, Mega confirmed that the victim was a resident of Bandung Regency. "Yes," she replied.
