
NCR focus crimes down 59% in August; NCRPO vows no let-up
The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) reported a 59.24% decrease in focus crimes in Metro Manila from August 10 to 16, 2026, compared to the same period in 2025. Despite the significant drop, NCRPO chief vowed to intensify anti-criminality efforts.
