Pistols 2, Narcotics Seized, Man Arrested in Taunggyi

Mekong, September 24 It has been reported that two pistols, along with Happy Water and Ketamine narcotics, were seized in Bayarphu Ward, Taunggyi City, southern Shan State, and one man was arrested. Early in the morning of September 23, security forces, acting on information, raided a house located next to Pantain Road in Ward 4, Bayarphu Ward. Inside the house, they found Sai Si, and further searches led to the seizure of firearms and narcotics. The seized items included two Glock 26 Gen-4 pistols, three magazines, 10 rounds of .38 caliber ammunition, one GLOCK-17 AUSTRIA Gas pistol, one Gas pistol magazine, 50 grams of Happy Water, 10 grams of Ketamine, and related paraphernalia. Sai Si, who was arrested, is a resident of Sai Khone Village, Kon Hine Township, and had come to Taunggyi City to work as a driver. He has stated that the weapons, ammunition, and narcotics were purchased from Nam San. He has been charged under Section 19(a)/22(b)/21 of the Arms Act and the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law at the Taunggyi Township Police Station, and an investigation is underway.
