Vietnamese National Assembly Vice Chairman Visits Tuyen Quang Province, Presents Gifts to Revolution Contributors

Do Van Chien, a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, visited Tuyen Quang Province on the afternoon of September 20. After paying respects at the Tan Trao National Special Historical Site, he visited and presented gifts to individuals recognized for their contributions to the revolution and the elderly in the province. This visit was part of the provincial tours undertaken by the leadership of the Communist Party and the State. Previously, Vice Chairman Do Van Chien had visited provinces such as Bac Ninh and Lang Son for exchanges with residents and to inspect work related to regional development. On the same day, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan also conducted welfare activities for children in Tuyen Quang Province, indicating the leadership's continued engagement with local areas. Under its one-party system, Vietnam prioritizes economic growth but also focuses on social welfare and stabilizing citizens' lives. Special attention to revolution contributors and the elderly is a key policy issue, rooted in the nation's history since its founding.
