Cambodia is intensifying its crackdown on illegal fishing in Kampong Thom province, particularly around Tonle Sap Lake. Joint forces have reportedly reduced illegal fishing by 70-80% over the past two years. The province has issued three directives to eradicate illegal fishing activities.
