US-Vietnam Launch Pacific Partnership Program to Foster Peace and Prosperity
The US and Vietnam have launched the Pacific Partnership - Pacific Friend 2026 (PP-PF26) program in Quang Tri province, central Vietnam. Approximately 270 US military personnel will collaborate with Vietnamese counterparts on over 20 military-to-military and civil-military activities, focusing on construction, health, and disaster response. This initiative aims to enhance humanitarian assistance and disaster response capabilities, signifying a deepening of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two nations.
