Indonesia Implements Tax on Foreign Digital Transactions, Partners with 5 Banks and 1 Fintech

Indonesia's Directorate General of Taxation (DJP) has officially implemented the System for Collecting Tax on Foreign Digital Transactions (SPP-TDLN) starting September 25, 2026. This system collaborates with five banks and one fintech company, aiming to secure tax revenue from international digital transactions originating from Indonesia.
