Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Aye Kyaw, accompanied by officials, inspected the rehabilitation efforts at the flood affected areas in Laymyethna Township of Hinthada District. At the Sat Paing Village in Khamauksu Village-tract, the Chief Minister and party oversaw the water chlorination works to provide purified drinking water and prevent diarrhea by the District Public Health Department and transformers repairing works to generate electricity in the area. During the arrival at the Basic Education Middle School in Achokekalay Village, the Chief Minister inspected teaching and learning process and provided rice and foodstuff to the teachers. At the Hantha Aye Village, the Chief Minister provided basic foodstuff and edible oil to the residents, and oversaw the opening of basic education primary school. The Chief Minister also inspected water chlorination works in Mayin (North) Village and visited the Station Hospital, providing eggs to the patients. The Chief Minister also met with the flood affected people who are relocating at their respective households in Aithabyut Village-tract of Laymyethna Township, provided rice, edible oil, beans and instant noodle.
