U Win Min Ko stated that the number of domestic and international tourists visiting Ngwe Saung Beach is expected to increase more than last year. He also said that convenient transportation and electricity supply are contributing factors to attracting tourists. Hotels are also preparing competitively for the upcoming tourist season, and preparations are expected to be completed by the end of September to provide quality services, said U Kyaw Swar Maung Maung, the general manager of a hotel in Ngwe Saung town. Since island tours are also included in the Ngwe Saung Beach excursions, the pricing has been announced to ensure transparency. It is known that arrangements are being made to provide charging facilities for EV vehicles for tourists who will be visiting with EV vehicles. Furthermore, it is known that strict measures are being taken to ensure that seafood consumed during beach excursions are healthy food. Ngwe Saung Beach in Ngwe Saung town, Ayeyarwady Region, was opened in March 2000.
