Cambodian People's Party Holds Political Training for 200 Members in Takeo Province to Strengthen Leadership Succession
The Cambodian People's Party's Takeo Provincial Committee concluded a three-day political training for approximately 200 party members. On the afternoon of June 28, 2026, HE Pen Kosal, a member of the Central Committee and Chairman of the Takeo Provincial Party Committee, presided over the closing ceremony of the 22nd session of the 1st level political training course at the Takeo Provincial Party Headquarters. The three-day training course saw the participation of approximately 200 party members, including permanent members of the provincial party committee, chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of provincial/municipal/district propaganda and education committees, and instructors. HE Mao Doung, a permanent member and Chairman of the Provincial Propaganda and Education Committee, delivered a summary report on the progress and outcomes of the political training course. During the event, HE Pen Kosal shared valuable knowledge and experiences with the party members. He conveyed the deepest regards and well wishes from HE Hun Sen, President of the Party; HE Heng Samrin, Honorary President of the Party; and HE Hun Manet, Vice President of the Party, to all party members. HE Pen Kosal emphasized that the party's political training is of utmost importance and a necessary factor for enhancing the political capacity, character, morality, and sense of responsibility of party officials at all levels and in all sectors, in order to respond to the demands, needs, situations, and tasks of each stage.
