Indonesian Immigration Office Searched in Bribery Case; 8 Officials Arrested

Indonesia's Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has searched the South Jakarta Immigration Office as part of an investigation into alleged bribery related to foreign residency permits. Eight individuals, including a former Deputy Minister of Immigration, have been arrested, with illicit assets totaling Rp17.5 billion seized.
