Thailand Seeks Cooperation with Russia on Logistics Cost Reduction

Thai Deputy Prime Prime Minister and Commerce Minister Pipat has reportedly discussed potential cooperation with the Russian Business Council aimed at reducing logistics costs. During the meeting, the Russian side presented its technological capabilities in railway rolling stock and related equipment, expressing interest in collaboration with Thailand. This move is drawing attention as Thailand explores new logistics routes and technology adoption to enhance its international trade competitiveness and streamline its supply chains. For the Thai economy, reducing logistics costs is a critically important issue for maintaining and improving the international competitiveness of its products.
