Maw Chaung village in Kanpetlet bombed from air, entire village flees

AYEYARWADDY TIMES SEPTEMBER 19 Due to aerial bombing by the SAC forces on Maw Chaung village in Kanpetlet Township, Chin State, a school has been destroyed and the entire village has fled, according to local residents. The SAC forces, without any fighting, carried out aerial bombing on Maw Chaung village in Kanpetlet Township with a jet fighter around 11 AM on September 16. "A jet fighter bombed the village twice. It exploded near the school in the village and was destroyed. There were no casualties," a local resident of Kanpetlet told Ayeyarwaddy Times. Due to the aerial bombing, the village school was destroyed, and fearing further aerial attacks, the entire village has fled to a safe place. "The villagers are afraid of more bombings, so they are no longer daring to stay in the village. Children and adults are fleeing to safety. They are now in need of urgent assistance," a local resident of Kanpetlet told Ayeyarwaddy Times. Maw Chaung village is located more than 30 miles from Kanpetlet city and is a village inhabited by civilians, with no fighting or military activity currently taking place.
