Wa Ale Resort, located in the ASEAN Heritage-listed Lampi Marine National Park, expects to welcome more European tourists this upcoming travel season compared to last year. The eco-friendly resort in Myeik Archipelago is scheduled to reopen in November and is upgrading its 21 nature villas. New facilities include solar-powered air conditioners and an environmentally friendly freshwater swimming pool. Visitors can enjoy activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, forest exploration, and visits to the traditional Salon community. The resort expects higher tourist arrivals thanks to its well-preserved natural environment and sustainable tourism efforts.
