In 2024, 1,367 students met the criteria for combined admissions with their high school graduation exam scores. This figure surpassed 1,700 last year and is projected to reach nearly 2,300 for the 2026 admissions cycle. This year, instead of a combined admission method, the university is awarding 'incentive points' to students who achieve an IELTS score of 6.0, TOEFL iBT of 80, or SAT of 1340/1600 or higher. These students can receive a maximum of 1.5 bonus points, offering benefits largely similar to the previous system. Among the nearly 2,300 eligible candidates, around 330 hold both IELTS and SAT scores, with most receiving the full 1.5-point bonus. Those with only language certifications received between 0.6 to 0.85 points. Notably, Nguyen Minh Quan, who achieved an IELTS of 8.5 and an SAT score of 1590/1600, would have received individual bonuses but is capped at the maximum 1.5 points. The university plans to admit over 2,700 students in 2026, with 20 spots reserved for direct admissions. The majority of admissions will be based on the 2026 high school graduation exam scores. Tuition fees for the 2026-2027 academic year are projected to range from VND 30 million to VND 90 million (approximately $1,200 to $3,600 USD), with Dentistry being the most expensive program. Last year's admission cut-off scores ranged from 17 to 27.3, with Medicine having the highest. Many programs saw a decrease in cut-off scores, ranging from 0.4 to nearly 5 points compared to the previous year.
