DPWH Forms Committee to Screen Engineers for Hazard Pay Eligibility
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in the Philippines has established a screening committee to determine eligibility for hazard pay and other benefits under the Magna Carta for Science and Technology Workers. This aims to ensure DPWH engineers and technical staff receive hazard pay ranging from 10 to 30 percent of their basic salary, along with other allowances. Additionally, a task force for right-of-way acquisition has been reconstituted to expedite infrastructure projects.
