Cambodia Securities Exchange Holds 29th Board Meeting, Discusses Bond Issuance and Market Development

The Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX) held its 29th Board of Directors meeting for the second mandate (2nd term) on September 7, 2026, at the CSX building. The meeting was chaired by H.E. Dr. Hang Sahib, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Chairman of the CSX Board of Directors. Participants included government representatives, board members, state auditors, as well as the leadership and technical officials of CSX. The meeting reviewed and approved several key agenda items: 1. Examination and approval of the feasibility of bond issuance by SNNTECH JUPITER Co., Ltd. 2. Examination and approval of the summary of CSX's performance for the second quarter of 2026 up to the present. 3. Approval for the renewal of membership for Wing Bank (Cambodia) Plc. as a bondholder agent, and Canadia Bank Plc. as a bond issuance agent, securities registration/transfer agent, and settlement agent. 4. Several other important agenda items. During the meeting, H.E. Dr. Hang Sahib urged the leadership and technical officials of CSX to continue their efforts in developing the exchange. This includes addressing various challenges and seizing emerging opportunities, with a focus on mechanisms to foster the growth of the Cambodia Securities Exchange to effectively respond to the ongoing economic, social, and financial development of the nation.
